When a Menu Item's Availability is turned OFF in the Clover Dashboard (e.g. for a temporarily out of stock item) should it be removed from the kiosk entirely or shown but with a "Not Available" indicator? Option A – Keep the item on the menu screen but display a clear indicator (gray box overlay, with "Not Available" written across it, etc.) to show it is no longer available. See option A below. Option B – Remove the unavailable item from the menu screen altogether? See option B below. Question Title Question Title * 2. How would you like to see suggested selling items presented on the ordering kiosk? (Please select only one answer). Option A - Suggested items are assigned to the menu as a whole (e.g. the top 5 things that the restaurant wants to be in every cart). When the customer taps the Checkout Button or Cart Icon suggested selling items will appear before proceeding to checkout. See option A below. Any items that are already in the cart will not be suggested again. This option prompts the customer to add items right before they finalize their order. Option B – Suggested items are assigned at the menu category level (e.g. The “Burgers” category can have fries and milkshakes suggested, whereas the “Salads” category can have a bag of chips and bottled water suggested). As soon as the customer taps “Add Item” to place it in their cart, the suggested selling items will appear. See option B below. Even if the item is already in the cart, the customer will sill be prompted for up to 3 of the suggested items (e.g. every time they add another Burger category item they are prompted if they want to add fries or a milkshake).
