What is the purpose of the study? The purpose of in-home interview testimonial is to better understand the impact your injection device has on your life. We are speaking to people like you who have positive experiences administering prescribed medication via self-injection.

What does the commitment entail? If you would like to take part, two researchers would join you at your home for a total of 3-4 hours. They would find a common place in your home, such as the living room, to set up video lights, microphones, and a video camera to conduct a 30-minute interview to better understand your treatment journey and your experience with your treatment device. We might like to also get footage of you doing something around the home, such as tidying up, talking with loved ones, cooking, etc. Note that the interview/footage collection is estimated to be between 30-60 minutes, the remainder of the time will be used to set up/breakdown the lighting and camera equipment. We will ask you a handful of simple questions such as a brief overview of your treatment journey, how your condition impacts your life, your injection routines, and how you feel about your current treatment experience with the treatment device (shot/pen/autoinjector).

How will the video footage be used? Who will get to see it? We are collecting this material for public use on behalf of a medical device company, which means, to take part in this study, you must consent for your material to be available for consideration in public use, for example, on social media channels, such as YouTube or the client’s website, but not on broadcast television. It is not guaranteed that your material will be selected for public use, but we ask for public use rights regardless.
