NV Energy is developing a Transportation Electrification (TE) Plan for a two-year time frame (2023-2024) to accelerate the use of electricity as the transportation fuel of choice and to help Nevadans realize the benefits of this transition. Nevada Senate Bill 448 (2021) requires NV Energy to file the TE Plan by September 1, 2022. The Plan may include investments, incentives, programs, rate designs, and systems.

 

The TE Plan may include:
  • Program design for all customers classes including:
               o   Residential (single-family homes and multi-unit dwellings)
               o   Non-residential (fleet and workplace, including transit, commercial, governmental, school bus, distribution only customers)
  • Managed charging programs
  • Education and outreach
  • Historically underserved community programs
NV Energy seeks feedback from interested stakeholders for consideration as it develops the TE Plan. Please share recommendations for plan components you  suggest NV Energy benchmark for the TE Plan.

Input received in response to the survey will be reviewed by NV Energy. Stakeholder recommendations may or may not be incorporated into the TE Plan at NV Energy’s sole discretion.
