Introduction

The District of Muskoka is in the process of developing it’s Early Learning and Child Care 5-Year Service Plan. To help inform the plan, the District is conducting a survey of families who live in the municipality who have children 12 years of age or younger, and/ or individuals and agencies who are involved in the Early Learning and Child Care sector. Quality early learning and child care programs provide enriching experiences and interactions that have been shown to shape all areas of development during a child’s most critical period of brain development. The survey is about your experience(s) with child care, camps and recreation programs in Muskoka, whether you are a parent, employee, or agency that offers supports in our community.

Input from the survey will help inform local priorities for early learning and child care in Muskoka over the next 5 years. The survey takes approximately 5-15 minutes to complete, depending on your responses. If you are both a parent of a child aged 0-12 and an Early Learning Professional, please complete the survey twice, once as a parent and once as a professional. Thank you!

Chance to win a prize!
At the end of the survey, you will have a chance to enter a draw to win one of two $100 pre-paid VISA gift cards!
Note: If you have completed the survey twice (as a parent and professional) your name will only be entered once into the draw.

No personal information will be collected in this survey, only an email address will be collected should you chose to enter the draw. If you have any questions about confidentiality, this survey, or data collection, please email Stephanie Schofield, Program and Policy Analyst, at stephanie.schofield@muskoka.on.ca
