The Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce will present the Property Improvement Awards at the Chamber’s Annual Awards Breakfast on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the Chambersburg Country Club. We are actively seeking nominations for these awards from members of the Chamber.

The purpose of the Property Improvement Awards are to recognize Chamber members for outstanding real estate improvement completed in 2018 in these areas:            

Rehabilitation up to $150,000
Rehabilitation $150,000 - $500,000
Rehabilitation over $500,000
Historic Preservation

The Property Improvement Awards are designed to recognize excellence in design and construction of Chamber members’ projects, completed during 2018. Several professionals from the construction industry will visit the project sites in early March to assist in the review process; please make yourself available. Projects entered within a specific category may be re-categorized by the committee based on the project’s cost for the purposes of judging.

Each project is judged on its own merits based on the following criteria:

Design and use of space
Degree of difficulty
Workmanship and quality of construction
Appropriateness to surrounding / existing structure(s)
Effect on neighborhood / community
Overall economic impact on community

Nominations must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, February 25.
