Our Early Care & Education (ECE) coworkers in the FDC/TAPP programs at Bryant St, SF are beginning the process to negotiate with Felton Institute management to bargain over their working conditions. Felton Institute serves some of our most underprivileged communities across 5 different counties in the Bay Area and as this agency expands, as should our collective voice to strengthen program services. It is our social justice responsibility to advocate for fair working conditions because our working conditions have a direct impact on our client’s quality of care.
We all work under one agency, so we should be one Union to have our voices equally heard at the table when it comes to all of our clients in the divisions including: Children, Youth & Family & TAY, Adult Services, Justice Services, Senior Services, and Early Psychosis Programs. By sharing your thoughts, you help to ensure that our union represents the interests of our diverse workforce and our priorities. Each non-managerial employee is highly encouraged to fill out a Workplace Priorities Survey to form a strong union of United Felton Workers to win the best working conditions that we all deserve.
This is our union too, driven by us, and by 1) signing a confidential authorization card and 2) completing a bargaining survey, you’re taking the future of our union and agency into your own hands!
Together We Win,
Your Organizing Committee: Eva Cisneros, Rayvon Williamson, Danielle Sagarminaga, Hung Dinh, Nina Clark, Courtney Lorraine, Emily Mann
