What is a cultural cooperation initiative in this context? Cultural cooperation initiatives are programmes supported by European countries which support development in the cultural field in South Africa. Such initiatives may involve one or more of the following formats: workshops, master classes, short courses, mentoring, co-productions, internships, residencies, study tours, mobility and touring of work, professional meetings, conferences and network events. These initiatives may also involve exchanges, collaborations and co-productions among arts professionals from South Africa and the country providing support, as well as support for exchanges with arts professionals from other African countries. |
