RIPPLE EFFECT: BYSTANDER INTERVENTION TRAINING
Ripple Effect is teaming up with Stacey Forrester of Good Night Out to offer Bystander Intervention Training for Music PEI members and conference attendees. The training is focussed on the nuances of the live music and events industries to explore how the root causes of sexual violence manifest in these sectors. We look at clearly identifiable ‘risks for perpetration’ in these spaces and teach tools to help teams mitigate the risk of sexual violence being perpetrated, normalized or going unnoticed.
This workshop takes on a trauma informed lens to ensure attendees have support dealing with any uncomfortable feelings that may arise during the workshops.
