I think building energy codes are fine as they are currently. Nothing needs to change.

Implementing more robust energy codes should be a priority for the Kansas City region.

We need to be doing all we can to slow down climate change.

Upgrading existing buildings are a much bigger concern to me than new construction.

We need to better frame buildings practices as an environmental justice issue.

I’m concerned about the expense burden any changes in building requirements will put on our economy and communities.
