Dear Colleague
As a follow-up to our previous work (Shelton AV et al. (2024) Equine Vet J . doi: 10.1111/evj.14061), we are conducting a study focussing on the veterinary surgeons performing prepurchase examinations (PPEs) in horses in the United Kingdom.
We would appreciate if you could take the time to complete the consent form and questionnaire below. The process should take no more than 15 minutes of your time. Note the all data will be processed anonymously.
This research is performed by Annabel Shelton BVetMed MRCVS from Hird & Partners Veterinary Surgeons and David M. Bolt Dr. Med. Vet., MS, FHEA, DACVS, DECVS, ECVDI (Associate – Large Animal), MRCVS from RVC Equine. It looks for veterinary personnel from all backgrounds and experience levels who are performing pre-purchase examinations (PPEs) in horses in the United Kingdom. The purpose of the study is to establish an overview about the experience level, the number and types of animals assessed and the training of the veterinary surgeons performing PPEs in different types of horses in the United Kingdom
