SURVEY: EVERYDAY ECOTOURISM HEROES
Here at Ecotourism Australia, we are constantly inspired by you - our certified operators, who share our passion for inspiring environmentally sustainable and culturally responsible tourism and showcase this in a myriad of practical ways.
Many of you have created initiatives which have made and continue to make a huge positive impact on your local environment and community. Whether by designing a unique composting system, incorporating recycled materials into your building design, training Indigenous youth or starting a collaborative threatened species research network, you are the businesses which drive innovation in our industry, and influence your guests to see tourism as a catalyst for positive change.
We know every project starts with an idea, and every idea comes from somebody wanting to make a difference.
We want to meet the changemakers. To highlight the passionate people in your team who push everyone else to do better, to think outside the box, to take action.
That’s why we’ve decided, for the first few months of 2019, to focus on our Everyday Ecotourism Heroes. We want to tell their stories.
