Are you seeing a lot of nuisance mosquitos?

The Lemon Fair Insect Control District is responsible for applying larvicide in the townships of Bridport, Cornwall and Weybridge VT. We do not spray for adult mosquitos. Instead we try to prevent mosquito larva from hatching in the first place. We are monitoring the number of larva all summer, but any information you can give us about where and when you are seeing adult mosquitos helps!

Remember to protect your self from mosquito bites. Avoid being outside when mosquitoes are most active, particularly dusk and dawn. Avoid being in tall grasses and woodland edges where mosquitoes often rest and look for an opportune meal. Use insect repellant wisely, and wear long sleeves and pants when you know you're going to be vulnerable to mosquito bites.
