The Gender Based Violence Area of Responsibility (GBV AoR) is conducting its annual ("baseline") survey among GBV coordination groups in order to monitor key information. We specifically want to:
- Monitor the coordination structure of national GBV coordination groups - Update key information to inform the mapping of GBV coordination groups
- Update key information to inform the mapping of GBV information managers - Map availability of key coordination outputs (e.g. strategy, referral pathways etc) - Identify priorities for training or strengthening in GBV coordination groups
We ask for the coordinator or co-coordinator to complete this short survey. Please only complete ONE survey per coordination structure.
We will share this information with our Core Members at our annual AoR meeting. We are also obliged to share information with OCHA regarding the current status of our coordination groups and they share this information with the Emergency Director's Group. In addition, we use this information for advocacy purposes, where we aim to fill the gaps in coordination structures. As such, this information may also be shared with UNFPA, donors, Call to Action, and other relevant partners. In our information products, no specific country will be identified.
The survey should take approximately 35 minutes to complete, there are 69 questions total. Deadline for completion of the survey is Monday 25 May.
Please note that we will be asking a few detailed questions in relation to your coordination structure. Specifically, we require you to fill out the contact details of all the coordinators and co-coordinators at national level, as well as the number and types of members you have at the national coordination structure, detailed questions about women's organizations, and contact details of your information management officers. Please ensure you have this information available before starting the survey - this will significantly reduce your time spent filling out the survey.
