Clinical Governance is at the heart of quality and safety in hospital in Australian and New Zealand.
Clinical Governance has been defined as:
  • Having a framework in place throughout the organisation that supports you to be explicit about the standard of care delivered, how you protect patients from harm, how you listen to patients, and how you plan and measure improvement. (Flynn et al 2015)

This survey aims to determine the current maturity of clinical governance across Australasian health services. It will enable national organisations to identify gaps in the current state of clinical governance and develop tailored solutions to meet these gaps.

Please answer the survey for the hospital where you currently work. If you work across several hospitals, please choose one when providing your answers.

It is estimated that the survey will take approximately 8 minutes to complete.
