Instructions
We are conducting a survey to learn more about how leaders learn from experience, and would value your input. In return for completing the survey, we will share the results with you when it has been compiled and analyzed. If you would like to receive the results when they are ready, please provide your contact information at the end of the survey. Note that the survey is not confidential, as we would prefer to collect your contact/demographic information. Please feel free to respond to the survey even if you choose to not share your contact information.
Below are several Continuous Learning Best Practices, identified from research and practice. Please provide your input by:
- Rating each practice in terms of how important the use of the practice has been in your own professional development as a leader. Very Important means “had the greatest impact on my development.”
- Rating each practice in terms of the frequency with which you use the practice in your own day-to-day work life.
- Briefly describing (2 – 3 sentences) the impact on your growth and development as a leader of the one or two items you rated as the most important and most frequently used Continuous Learning Best Practices.
- Sharing additional practices from your own experience that have had a significant positive impact on your development as a leader.
