EuMAR Pilot Study - Fertility patients |
Introduction
EuMAR is a project co-funded by the European Commission and led by the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), aiming to create a unique registry of Medically Assisted Reproduction (MAR) treatments in EU countries.
The EuMAR database will be a great resource to better understand infertility treatment outcomes. It will help to inform patients and clinicians of the real chances of achieving a live birth over an entire course of treatment and provide fertility clinics with statistics that can help them maintain and improve their quality standards for patient care.
The EuMAR registry is being tested in a pilot study running in some clinics in Estonia, Germany, Portugal, and Slovenia from July to December 2024. Data of MAR treatments in these countries will be collected in the EuMAR registry in an anonymised manner. To protect patients’ privacy, only clinically relevant data for research purposes, monitoring, and quality management is collected. Identifiable data like your name, address or your personal ID will not be shared with EuMAR.
Your health, safety, and wellbeing are at the centre of our project, and your experience as a patient matters the most to EuMAR. With this survey, we would like to gather your opinion and views on data collection, so that our work on building the EuMAR registry can reflect the needs and interests of the patients.
The survey consists of 20 questions, and it should take around 5 minutes to complete it. It is available in several languages.
We are grateful that you are taking the time to fill in this survey.
By completing this survey, you agree that ESHRE shall process your personal data in accordance with our privacy declaration, which you can access here.
