Calling all artists, writers, and creatives in 6th-12th grade! We are accepting submissions for the World No Tobacco Day 2025 – Art & Poetry Showcase to bring awareness to the harmful tobacco and nicotine products appealing especially to children and young people.
Guidelines:

1. Open to Charles County students in 6th - 12th grades
2. All entries must be your original work that focuses on tobacco-free messaging (e.g., dangers of smoking/vaping, benefits of a tobacco-free lifestyle, peer pressure resistance).
3. Spoken word and poetry must be typed or handwritten legibly, ready for display, and performed within 3 to 5 minutes at the showcase.
4. Art submissions must be hand drawn, painted, or a digital print, ready for display and no larger than size 24"x36".
5. Participants must register to confirm participation in the showcase no later than May 1, 2025.
6. Submissions will be accepted at the showcase by 5 pm on May 13, 2025.
7. Submissions will be judged and prizes given.
