Introduction

The Maine Climate Council wants to hear from a wide variety of Mainers as it updates the state climate action plan, Maine Won’t Wait. By Law, the Council must update the plan by December 1, 2024. To learn more about Maine Won’t Wait, click here.

The Maine Climate Council is considering new or updated strategies in eight areas: Transportation, Buildings, Energy, Coastal & Marine, Community Resilience, Natural and Working Lands, Materials Management, and Land Use. Please read the strategies in each section and answer the questions that follow.
