Fresno Green Team Youth Ambassador Application |
Application
Tree Fresno and the Fresno Metro Black Chamber of Commerce (FMBCC) have partnered to launch the Green Team Youth Ambassador Program through funding from the California Air Resource Board Supplemental Environmental Projects and CALFIRE.
This is an 8-month, part-time, paid position for community members between the ages of 18 and 28 to gain valuable work experience and start a career in the growing environmental sustainability sector.
As a Youth Ambassador, you will learn from professionals about growing, planting, and caring for urban trees, environmental justice, land and forest conservation, and how to monitor air quality. This is an opportunity to learn and work in both virtual and hands-on environments on projects that will give you the tools to combat climate change and advocate for your community.
The program will meet for 4 hours, twice a month, for eight months. There will be occasional events on the weekends where Youth Ambassadors will be expected to volunteer. If you're ready to work collaboratively with your community and peers to change the future of the Central Valley, apply below!
