The Southeast Arizona Governments Organization (SEAGO) and Sierra Vista Metropolitan Planning Organization (SVMPO) are partnering to conduct a transportation safety plan that evaluates all public roads in Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, and Santa Cruz Counties. SEAGO, SVMPO, and the local agencies they represent are concerned about the causes of fatalities and serious injuries on our roadways. We are taking a look at why crashes are happening and looking for ways to reduce tragic life altering events for everyone traveling in the region.

We want to find out what you think about your safety on our roadways. Your ideas will help us identify what the community thinks is the biggest problem and where we should direct funds to make safety improvements. The first page of the survey focuses on the transportation safety plan, and the second page will ask optional demographic information which will be used to evaluate how well we’ve reached different groups in our communities.

To reflect the diversity of needs across the four-county region, we are breaking the region into six Geographic Focus Areas (GFAs) as shown in the map above.
