PROTECT MUDJIMBA ISLAND CORAL REEF

PETITION

TO: THE HONOURABLE SPEAKER AND MEMBERS OF THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF QUEENSLAND

Boats dropping anchors around Mudjimba Island are ripping up the coral reef and doing significant damage.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to call on the Queensland State Government to urgently act to install much-needed permanent moorings to protect the coral reef around Mudjimba Island by requiring boats to stop dropping their anchors on this natural treasure while still ensuring access.
