Section 1 - Judging Panel Role & Requirements

Thank you for your interest in being a judge on our awards judging panel for the 2024-2025 ICF Toronto awards. Please review the information below and then proceed to Section 2 to answer the questions.

Description of the Volunteer Role:
Our ICF Toronto Awards Judging Panel consists of one lead judge and four judges for a total of five on the judging panel. The Judging Panel has the responsibility of reviewing nominations and selecting winners based on specific criteria for our Annual Awards program.

Requirements:
  • ICF Toronto Chapter member in good standing and paid the annual activity fee
  • A current ICF credential holder with a minimum ACC credential
  • Fluent in ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics
  • Delivered coaching as an external or internal coach for a minimum of two years
  • Experience in designing/delivering a coaching engagement over six-plus months
  • Openness to challenging the status quo; demonstrate a growth mindset
  • Collaborative and skilled at providing timely, supportive feedback
  • Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Nice to have: Formerly served as a judge for an awards program

What's Involved?
  • Orientation begins mid-November 2024 (2-3 hours)
  • Judging begins early February 2025 with approx. 18 to 22 hours to review the nominations independently, and, with the panel, collectively assess the applications, select the winners, and attend the awards presentation Spring or Early Summer 2025.
Deadline for Submission:
The application for the judging panel deadline is November 15, 2024. You will be contacted by our Lead Judge, Patricia Andraos after that date.
