The Gators Unidos Scholarship Application 2025

The Gators Unidos Scholarship (GUS) Fund Award was created to bridge a connection between previous generations of Latino Gator Alumni to the next. Each year, a select number of University of Florida undergraduate and graduate upperclassmen will receive the distinction of being recipients of the GUS award; The award provides $2,500 in financial aid, access to professional development mentorship resources, access to the premium SUMA Wealth App to support you to grow your dinero and reach your financial goals, $250 gift card to the UF Bookstore, and a 1-on-1 professional development sponsorship program for one year with a Latino Gator Alumni. Additionally, a select group of applicants will receive access to a peer network of Latino Alumni to leverage through their time at UF and beyond.

Applicant Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Full-time (undergraduate or graduate) student at UF with at least 30+ Credits (Sophomore Standing and above)
Student must be enrolled at UF in the Fall 2025 semester
Identify as 1st generation to attend college in the US
Must have Major/ Field of Study determined
Active member a student organization OR in their local community such as:

Member of a UF student organization
Involved in local organizations/ jobs outside of UF
