Tameside Council has developed a fresh strategy for the borough with the aim of improving council engagement with the community and our partners.
The Engagement Strategy, which can be read here, centres around six main areas. These are:
1) Reaching into Communities
2) Partnership Approach to Engagement
3) Accessibility of Engagement
4) Cultivate Seldom Heard Voices
5) Build Trust Through Transparency
6) Collaboration with Communities and Stakeholders
Under each section is a list of actions that we believe will help us achieve our goal of improved engagement. This will in turn provide more evidence and insight for service, policy, and strategy development, leading to better outcomes for local residents.
This consultation is looking for feedback on the new Engagement Strategy. It will take around 5 - 10 minutes to complete and all answers will be anonymous.
