South Siskiyou Sustainable Recreation Plan - fall check in on vision and key themes

We're super excited about the amount of participation we had in May and June in our efforts to engage community members in the South Siskiyou Sustainable Recreation Plan initial public input phase. Thank you to everyone who joined our public workshops and took the online survey. Between interviews, community workshops, and committee meetings, we chatted with about 400 of you in-person. Additionally, we got feedback from 163 of you through our online survey. Your input informed our vision for community recreation, project focus areas, and will be a crucial part of developing a list of priority projects to include in the plan.

SORA and the team at Alta Planning + Design have been working hard to craft that input, along with the plans, maps and reports shared by South County organizations, agencies and jurisdictions, into an actionable plan we can all use moving forward.
