The 42nd AOPO Annual Meeting is being held June 22-June 25, 202 in Denver, CO and will be packed with your peers, creating that exciting buzz of energy as they engage in sessions focused on achieving 50,000 organ transplants in 2026.

The agenda will be shaped directly by the abstracts we receive, ensuring that we tailor the content to match the needs and interests of our community. We're committed to offering a program that reflects the latest advancements and insights. Submit your abstracts and help us create a dynamic and relevant agenda that truly resonates with our community!

Present the results of your scientific research, technological advances, and/or innovations in areas such as program design, practice methods, or educational techniques. Every discipline within the organ and tissue donation industry is encouraged to participate. Multiple proposals may be submitted. This is YOUR opportunity to share successful practices and help save even more lives!

GUIDELINES FOR PREPARING ABSTRACTS/POSTERS
For purposes on anonymity do not identify places or authors in the body of the proposal or the title (i.e., no organization name, city, state, etc.)
  • Abstracts/posters should report the investigation and conclusions of completed research.
  • Abstracts/posters should be no longer than 400 words.
  • Organize the abstract/poster into four distinct sections
    • Purpose - What was the reason for the study (hypothesis)?
    • Methods - How was the investigation accomplished?
    • Results - What were the findings?
    • Conclusions - What solutions were found based on the results?
  • Expenses associated with the preparation, submission, and presentation of an abstract are the responsibility of the presenter(s)/author(s).
  • Authors of accepted presentation abstracts or posters are expected to register for the AOPO 2025 Annual Meeting and are responsible for costs of meeting registration.
