Springer, the orphaned orca who was successfully reunited with her family 20 years ago, brought a community together and her story continues to delight and inspire.  KNKX will present a special event about Springer on May 22, 2 p.m. in The Forum at Town Hall featuring a discussion with members of the team who were involved in Springer’s rescue, moderated by KNKX Environment Reporter Bellamy Pailthorp.  All ages are welcome.  The event is free and family-friendly, and will include an audience Q&A.  Can’t attend in person?  The event will also be live streamed.
