HOW EFFECTIVE IS YOUR RECRUITING? Recruiting Importance Question Title 1. What approaches have you taken to establish your recruiting process and tool kits as a competitive advantage for your business? We have established recruiting effectiveness as a priority and have equipped our leaders with process, tools and techniques to make the best hires possible. We have often discussed our need to identify and hire good talent but have not launched any formal initiatives to become more effective at recruiting. We pretty much recruit the same way today that we did 5 years ago; other than pay rates we do not spend much time on recruiting tools and technique. We have a decent recruiting process and some good tools in place but we still lack consistency and training resources to keep all our hiring managers up to speed. Question Title 2. How often is recruiting a core topic in your leadership meetings? Our focus on recruiting effectiveness is built into our strategic planning process and we have defined initiatives to drive continuous improvement. We routinely address recruiting needs and process improvements in our regular management meetings. We occasionally discuss recruiting needs but rarely explore recruiting effectiveness agendas in our regular management meetings.
