RNS wants to hear from you!
The Ringette Nova Scotia Policy Committee is working towards a new Excellence Program Policy. The Excellence Program Policy guides programming for u14, u16 and u19 athletes. U 14, U16A and u19A athletes in RNS programming attend the Eastern Canadian Ringette Championships. U16AA and u19AA athletes in RNS programming attend the Canadian Ringette Championships.
An important first step is feedback from Nova Scotia's ringette community. This survey is wide-ranging and asks those involved in ringette in our province to share your insights with Ringette Nova Scotia. This information will guide us in addressing key issues in the new policy.
Your answers to the questions, themes and prompts posed in this survey can be as long or short as you like. If you have a lot to say, go for it! If you just have one key issue you want to identify, please share with us. Feel free to skip over questions that don’t apply to your experience. You can choose to identify yourself or remain anonymous. Critical feedback is welcome and constructive suggestions for our path forward are greatly appreciated.
As always, the new policy will need to be approved by our membership, the four ringette clubs in NS, before it becomes permanent.
The survey information will be shared with the Policy Committee (Rachel Furey, Kate Jessome, Melanie MacLean), the RNS Executive Director Stacey and RNS board members. The data will be compiled, and summaries will be shared RNS’s membership (our four associations) and key ringette subject matter experts as we develop our new Excellence Policy.
The questions and prompts under each theme sometimes refer to current policies, which can be found here:
