Application Form
Dear EUROSPINE Member,
We are pleased that you are interested in participating in the EUROSPINE-JSSR travelling fellowship programme 2025.
In collaboration with the Japanese Society for Spine Surgery and Related Research (JSSR) and EUROSPINE, this annual fellowship programme supports spine surgeons' continuing education and training through a structured experience at premier European and Japanese spine centres. The fellowship programme, consisting of two EUROSPINE member grants and two JSSR member grants, combines hands-on observation, focused discussions, and exposure to innovative techniques. Each fellowship grant is valued at €10,000 per fellow and subject to EUROSPINE reimbursement policies, visiting 2-3 centres.
EUROSPINE selects two travelling fellows to visit spinal surgery treatment facilities in Japan. The European fellows travel to centres in Japan, while Japanese fellows visit centres in Europe. Both trips last 2-3 weeks and aim to coincide with the society's annual meeting.
The two fellowship awards for EUROSPINE members include travel and accommodation support (subject to EUROSPINE reimbursement policies) not exceeding 10'000 EUR and complimentary registration to the JSSR meeting.
The first cohort of EUROSPINE fellows will travel to Japan in March/April 2025, visit three spine centres and finish the travelling fellowship at the JSSR meeting.
