NRG Oncology (NRG) solicits applications for membership to its administrative committees on a yearly basis. Additionally NRG is currently accepting applications from individuals with expertise in sarcoma for membership to the newly formed Sarcoma Subcommittee.
  • Applicants may apply to the Sarcoma Subcommittee and or one choice for the administrative committees.
  • If you are already listed as an administrative committee member on the NRG website (link), there is no need to apply again for the same committee unless your term is expiring (term started in Spring of 2022 or before).
The following administrative committees are seeking applications for committee membership:

-Ancillary Projects Committee
-Communications Committee
-Membership Committee
-Protocol Operations Monitoring Committee (POM)
-Publications Committee

If you wish to apply for membership on Sarcoma Subcommittee and or one of these administrative committees, or you have been rotated off and wish to regain membership, the following must be completed and submitted electronically via this application for consideration:

3-Cover Letter briefly stating the reasons the applicant wishes to join the committee, contributions the applicant expects to make to the group, and a review of relevant past contributions and accomplishments. The letter must be on institutional letterhead and signed and dated.

Please note incomplete applications or applications submitted via email will not be considered for membership.

Submission Deadline: April 14, 2025 at midnight ET.

Committee Members are required to:
  • Have an active status on the roster at an active NRG member site before completing this application. Applicants from non-NRG member sites will not be considered for a committee position. Continued committee membership requires that the applicant remains at an active NRG member site.
  • Complete and submit the NRG Oncology Member Information Form (https://www.nrgoncology.org/NRG-Member-Info)
  • Encourage participation in and promote accrual to NRG studies.
  • Actively participate in committee meetings and on conference calls.
  • Hold meeting materials in confidence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the committee chair in support of the committee.
Failure to comply with above requirements may result in being rotated off of the committee.
