About
Thank you for your interest in serving on the Young Leaders Steering Committee. Young Leaders Steering Committee members encourage participation and engagement in the group and set the course of the Young Leaders group, including determining the programming of the YL Annual Meeting and any additional YL activities throughout the year. Members are required to attend all in-person NSSGA events where YL Steering Committee Meetings are held (NSSGA Annual Convention, YL Annual Meeting, and Legislative & Policy Forum), in addition to participating in bimonthly conference calls/virtual meetings.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the YL Steering Committee, applicants must be employed by a member company of NSSGA and have attended at least two in-person NSSGA events, one of which must be the YL Annual Meeting.

Process
This year, there are five producer vacancies and three M&S vacancies available. Please fill out this application completely by Monday, June 2, to be considered for the 2025 intake. Your application will be reviewed by current YL Steering Committee members. In the event of a tie vote, candidates will be contacted for Zoom interviews.

Please note there can only be one member from any one dues-paying company on the YL Steering Committee. If there is already a Steering Committee member from your company, you will not be eligible for this year's intake. However, you are still encouraged to apply so that committee members can see your interest.
