Seeking input from Alaska Specialty Crop producers on future program funding

USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) distributes block grant funds annually, which are administered by State departments/ divisions of agriculture to enhance the competitiveness of specialty crops. AMS encourages State departments of agriculture to conduct outreach to specialty crop stakeholders, including socially disadvantaged and beginning farmers, to disseminate information about the program and identify funding priorities. AMS also encourages State departments of agriculture to develop their State Plans through a competitive review process to ensure maximum public input and benefit. The purpose of this survey is to identify 2025 SCBGP funding priorities.

*Projects selected will be based on funding available from USDA's 2025 SCBG which has not yet been announced.
