2024 Cheyenne Historic Preservation Awards Nomination Form
The Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board is accepting nominations for the board's 2024 preservation awards. Two awards are available:
The
Dubois Award
for
residential
properties. These properties must be (1) Primarily used as a residence, (2) Have a Cheyenne mailing address, and (3) Be more than 50 years old. Guidelines for ranking integrity, restoration, and other factors of historic preservation are considered by the board to select award recipients.
The
LeClercq Jones Award
for
non-residential
properties (including businesses, schools, churches, public buildings, and social organizations) in recognition of exceptional historic preservation efforts through restoration and/or maintenance of the structure.
Nominees for this award must be (1) A non-residential building, (2) Have a Cheyenne mailing address, and (3) Be more than 50 years old. Guidelines for ranking integrity, restoration, and other factors of historic preservation are considered by the board to select award recipients.
Both awards are presented in May during National Historic Preservation Month. The deadline for submissions is Jan. 1, 2025.
