The conference is focused on collaboration and the content will address improving cancer care, quality and outcomes for patients with cancer as well as supporting the physicians and allied health professionals who provide this care.

Authors are encouraged to submit a 200-word abstract for poster and/or podium presentation. The abstract should relate to improving cancer care and quality for patients with cancer and the physicians and allied health professionals who care for patients with cancer. Abstracts from physicians, advanced practice providers, allied health care professionals, administrators, nurses, program coordinators, and cancer registrars are welcome.


There is no limit on the number of abstracts per author; however, all information must be provided at the initial submission. Partial abstracts cannot be retrieved and completed abstracts cannot be edited after submission.


Please have the following items ready:
Primary Abstract Author/Presenter
Title of Abstract
Description of Project (200 words max)
At least 1 learning objective
Facility Identification Number (FIN) for your facility
Please note: Abstracts that have been submitted or recently presented at other meetings are eligible for presentation at the ACS Cancer Conference.

Previous presentation of a paper does not prohibit the presentation or publication of the material at the ACS Cancer Conference.

  • Addressing Staging Challenges at the Program Level
  • Using NCDB Data to Evaluate and Improve Performance
  • The Impact of The Quality Measures in the Cancer Program
  • Successful Collaboration Examples Within the Programs or Across Facilities
  • Increasing Clinical Research Accrual and Research Results
  • Improvements to Clinical Care

Guidelines:

Your abstract should focus on reaching an audience that will include physicians from all specialties who provide care to patients with cancer as well as advanced practice providers, allied health professionals, administrators, nurses, program coordinators, and cancer registrars.

All submissions will be reviewed and selected abstracts will be accepted for either a podium presentation or poster display during the ACS Cancer Conference which will be held in March 2025 in Phoenix, AZ. All podium presenters and authors of displayed posters must be present in person.

Abstract authors will be notified of final selections in mid-October. Abstracts that are not selected for this conference may be considered for presentation at future educational programs.
