The Germantown Community Library building was constructed in 2002 with the intention of adding a second floor expansion 5 to 10 years later. After over 20 years, the current building now serves over 35,000 residents in Germantown, Richfield and Jackson and is continuing to out-grow the space. The library is currently in the process of applying for a $4.25 million grant to expand the space with the originally intended second floor and is seeking community feedback.
