Interschool Queensland is hosting the Australian Interschool Championships at AELEC, Tamworth from 19-23 September 2024.

To provide Western Australia, Northern Territory and Tasmanian members an opportunity to compete at the 2024 Australian Interschool Championships, Equestrian Queensland is seeking pool horses for the following disciplines:-
  • Dressage
  • Jumping
  • Combined Training
  • Show Horse

Pool horses will be selected based on
  • Location to venue
  • Can be transported by other families travelling to venue

WHY LOAN YOUR HORSE?
  • Be a valued “owner” at the largest Youth Equestrian Championship event in Australia.
  • Have your horse compete at a National level with a Junior rider representing their State
  • Support the development and expand the experience of young riders that are the future of equestrian sport.
  • Owners will be paid a $900 for the loan of your horse or pony.
  • If your horse is not currently registered with Equestrian Australia we will facilitate EA registration.

OWNERS RESPONSIBILITIES
  • All necessary equipment ie gear, saddle, bits etc or the like as required to allow the Rider to compete on the Pool Horse
  • All feed that will be required by the Pool Horse for the period of this Agreement
  • Travel to the venue by no later than 17 September 2024
  • Provide in writing, to the athlete and the Pool Horse Convenor, any special requirements they wish the athlete to adhere to as related to the use of their particular Pool Horse.
