Dear Delegates to Provincial Synod,
The Ecclesiastical Province of Canada will hold a virtual Provincial Synod on June 14-15, 2024 via Zoom. In preparation for this Synod, each delegate in being requested to bcome familiar with the Provincial Safe Church Regulation, and to complete a training exercise on that regulation. The Provincial Council is required to document that sufficient training opportunity has been provided. To this end, an on-line multiple-choice quiz has been developed. It is a requirement for all leaders of The Province to complete training in accordance with the Provincial Safe Church Regulation. You are encouraged to read the regulation prior to attempting the quiz. This quiz is designed to make you aware of pertinent information it contains. Please endeavour to complete the quiz by the opening of Synod on June 14, 2024.
The Provincial Safe Church Regulation consists of a main document and three primary schedules:
Schedule A: Provincial Misconduct Policy
Schedule B: Provincial Privacy Policy
Schedule C: Model Diocesan Safe Church Policy
For your convenience, the following two links will give you access to the entire regulation; one link will give access to the main document and Schedules A and B, and the second link will give access to Schedule C.
