Overview

The University Center for Economic Development, part of the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno, is currently assisting the Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation, part of the Nevada Department of Conservation & Natural Resources, to complete a comprehensive economic impact assessment of Nevada’s outdoor recreation sector. Outdoor recreation is defined by the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis as all recreational activities undertaken for pleasure that generally involve some level of intentional physical exertion and occur in nature-based environments outdoors.

As part of this effort, the following outdoor recreation impact survey has been developed. Please complete as much of this survey as possible. This survey should take you approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. All results will be reported in the aggregate and no personal information will be shared with anyone outside the University Center for Economic Development. If you have any questions regarding this survey, please feel free to contact Frederick Steinmann, Director of the University Center for Economic Development, by email at fred@unr.edu.
