2024 Fall Food Cart Review - Reviewer Application

The City of Madison is seeking applications to participate as a Food Cart Reviewer for the 2024 Fall Food Cart Review Monday, September 9 - Saturday, October 5, 2024.

This annual review determines the eligibility of a food cart to operate (vend) in the Mall Concourse Vending Area. Participating as a reviewer is a volunteer role and not compensated financially. If selected as a reviewer, no payment is required for the food items ordered and sampled as part of the review.

To participate as a reviewer, you must be available for a mandatory training on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 6p-7p. The training is virtual and required even if you have been a reviewer in the past. The training is recorded and shared with reviewers.

The 2024 Fall Food Cart Review will take place Monday, September 9 - Saturday, October 5, 2024. You must be available to visit the carts in person during these dates and designated times. Reviewers are required to review at minimum of 80% of participating food carts. A schedule and site locations are shared prior to the start of the review.

Carts will be available to be reviewed:

· Mondays – Fridays between 11a – 2p

· Saturdays between 9a-1p

Food Vendors will be located in assigned sites found on the Mall Concourse Vending Site Map. The Mall Concourse Vending Area includes the Capitol Square, down to State Street Mall (700 block of State St.)
