The Connecticut Arts Hero Award honors and celebrates Connecticut residents who are doing inspiring things in, for, or through the arts in Connecticut at the Connecticut Arts Awards. An Arts Hero is a member of the CT arts community who is championing creativity in their community. They are often an unsung hero who is behind the scenes or in the trenches of the work of ensuring that the arts are accessible and appreciated. They are committed to seeing the arts thrive in CT. This award recognizes that the people around them notice and value their contributions. If you know a special someone who has contributed significantly to the arts in Connecticut, please take a moment to nominate this individual. Note: Arts Heroes are not awarded posthumously.

The deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

Save the Date: The Connecticut Arts Hero Awards will be presented on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Infinity Hall in Hartford.
