Welcome!  We're glad you are interested in applying to the NCAR Early Career Leadership Program! 

The 2023 NCAR Early Career Leadership Program (ECLP) will run virtually from Feb. 21st to April 11th, and be in-person March 6th through 9th, 2023, at the Mesa Lab. It is hosted by NCAR EdEC (Education, Engagement, and Early Career Development).

Eligibility: NCAR|UCAR|UCP employees in science, technical, or educational professions (including postdoctoral fellows) who have been employed for more than 6 months, and are within 12 years of their highest degree or identify as being in their early career are eligible.

Program Description: In this two month-long course, ~25-30 early career individuals at NCAR will participate in a leadership development program and connect with others in early stages of their careers. Topics will include principles of leadership, networking, emotional intelligence, listening, DEIJ, conflict resolution, and mentoring.  All sessions will be interactive and thoughtfully designed.
