Welcome to the 2022 edition of the Avtar & Seramount Best Companies for Women in India (BCWI) & the Most Inclusive Companies Index (MICI), studies!

Avtar - a pioneer in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion solutions in India that assists discerning organizations in making their workplaces more inclusive and Seramount (formerly Working Mother Media), now part of EAB, is a strategic professional services firm dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, come together to launch the seventh edition of BCWI in India to recognize and honor companies that are frontrunners in attracting, retaining and developing women talent.

The study has seen six very successful runs in India in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 going on to list and showcase 100 Best Companies for Women in India, in all these years. In 2019, Avtar & Seramount also joined hands to create Corporate India’s first Inclusion Index encompassing inclusion of gender, generation, sexual orientation, physical capabilities, and culture, called the Most Inclusive Companies Index (MICI). MICI is in its fourth year run in 2022.

2021 BCWI was extremely well received in corporate India with 334 companies participating. The key feature of the study is that it is entirely an alphabetical listing. Last year’s 2021 Top 10 Best Companies for Women in India (listed alphabetically) are Accenture Solutions Private Ltd, Citi India, Deloitte in India, Deutsche Bank Group, EY, Genpact India Pvt Ltd, IBM India Private Limited, Infosys Limited, Mastercard Incorporated and ZS Associates India Pvt Ltd.
