Community Planning Survey
Introduction:
The County of Marin is engaging in planning for the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Three-Year Plan, Continuum of Substance Use Services Five-Year Strategic Plan, and a Five-Year Consolidated Plan Housing and Federal Grants’ Community Development Block Grant program (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME).
The Marin County Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) provides community-wide prevention and early intervention services, and treatment services specific to Marin Medi-Cal beneficiaries and low-income uninsured residents with a substance use condition and/or a Serious Mental Illness.
The Housing and Federal Grants Division provides financial support through the CDBG and HOME programs for a wide range of community development needs serving low- and moderate-income residents including: providing decent affordable housing, improving parks and community centers, and providing safety-net services to the most vulnerable people in our communities, such as childcare for very low-income families.
