2019 Sophomore Retreat Application - DUE December 3, 2018 |
Who do I hope to become?
Do I have a civic and/or moral duty to improve my community and the world?
What profession would bring me joy and fulfillment?
Do I enjoy zip lining?
Have you ever asked yourself any of the questions listed above? If so, you are encouraged to apply to attend the Forth Annual Sophomore Retreat. LaGrange College is hosting a two-day retreat for current sophomore/second year students to personally explore the concept of career. Join us for a weekend of hands-on activities, important discussions, and career assessments, while we consider the factors that create a meaningful, fulfilling life after college. Explore your strengths, values, and interests in order to become a stronger decision-maker when it comes to your career and life goals.
Trip Details
The retreat will be held at historic Banning Mills in Whitesburg, GA. We will leave on the afternoon of Friday, March 1, 2019, and return during the early evening hours of Saturday, March 2, 2019. In addition to exploring a beautiful location and engaging in meaningful conversation, you will also have the opportunity for some of the best zip lining in all of Georgia. While the College will cover all costs associated with the trip should you be selected as a participant, failure to attend after accepting the invitation will result in a $25 fine that will be charged towards your student account.
