TIA 2019 Scholarship
The TIA Foundation is offering four (4) scholarships sponsored by Avalon Risk Management and two (2) Women in Logistics scholarships sponsored by Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff, LLP to the TIA 2019 Capital Ideas Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, FL, April 10-13, 2019. Scholarships provide a stipend for coach airfare and cover four (4) nights’ accommodations at the conference hotel. The conference registration fee is waived for scholarship recipients. The TIA Foundation Board will make final selections.
Each company is limited to one (1) candidate. Candidates must be first time TIA conference attendees and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the 3rd party logistics industry.
Applications must be received on or before midnight EST, January 25, 2019 for consideration. Scholarship recipients will be notified by February 8, 2019 and provided necessary information for redeeming their scholarship. All recipients must agree to attend the conference beginning with the Newcomer's Orientation on April 10 through the Chairman's Dinner on April 13; and submit a written summary after attending the TIA 2019 Capital Ideas Conference & Exhibition summarizing their experience and explaining how they believe their attendance will benefit them and further their career goals.
