Bourbon Kaimook (Bourbon Liberty 301) is the first vessel of the Bourbon Liberty 300 series of 20 modern AHTS. This series comes to complete Bourbon's range of next generation AHTS, following on the successful 54 AHTS Bourbon Liberty 200 series. Bourbon Kaimook is not the biggest vessel of the year. Nevertheless, she represents a genuine example of what the market could outline today as a modern vessel. She is dedicated to shallow water for supply, towing and anchor handling, but she is deep sea able for supply operations thanks to DP2, propulsion set up and cargo system capabilities. Bourbon analyzed clients’ feedback regarding its series of 54 Bourbon Liberty 200 AHTS and decided to adapt the next series remaining closely connected to the evolving offshore industry and its needs: a larger deck space, the capacity to carry more liquid mud and bulk products. With this extension of series, Bourbon reflects an accurate anticipation of the evolution of the market and demonstrates the efficiency and flexibility of its built-in-series strategy, emphasized by the operational successes of its Bourbon Liberty 100, 150, 200 and 300 (81 vessels delivered, 30 to be delivered).
