What’s so special about November 2024? SurveyMonkey turned 25! But we're not just celebrating a milestone—we're celebrating the power of giving back and the transformative potential of feedback.
We celebrated by donating $25,000 to charity. We selected 25 outstanding nonprofit organizations that use SurveyMonkey, giving each one $1,000. These organizations are gathering crucial data, understanding community needs, measuring program effectiveness, and ultimately driving positive change with the help of our surveys and forms.
Making a difference, one survey at a time
We believe in the power of feedback to drive positive change, and these organizations truly embody that belief. Whether advocating for children's rights, advancing healthcare, or protecting our planet, they're using SurveyMonkey to gather insights, understand needs, and make a real difference in the world.
Every survey response and data point helps these organizations make more informed decisions and create greater impact. Whether it’s identifying gaps in life-saving medical care, measuring the effectiveness of educational programs, or understanding community needs, the insights these groups gather through surveys directly translate into more effective programs. Each survey, and each response, contributes to a ripple effect of positive change.
Here's how these 25 organizations are using feedback to make a difference:
Advocating for children and families
Children facing abuse, neglect, and challenging neurological conditions need strong advocates fighting for their rights and well-being. Data-driven advocacy can create lasting change for children and families in need.
Organizations like the Advocacy Network for Children, the Child Neurology Foundation, and KC Mothers in Charge are using surveys to gather crucial data, track outcomes, and advocate for policies that protect children. Our donation will help them expand their impact and provide critical support to vulnerable families.
Empowering education and innovation
Breaking down barriers to education and fostering innovation requires understanding the needs of diverse communities and providing accessible tools for learning. Inclusive education and accessible technology can unlock potential and drive progress for everyone.
Organizations like the American Council of the Blind, the International Coaching Federation Foundation, the Sadie Collective, and the Scratch Foundation are using surveys to promote accessibility, understand learning trends, and close opportunity gaps. Our donation will help them empower individuals through education and innovation.
Advancing healthcare
Improving healthcare requires constant innovation, data-driven research, and a deep understanding of patient needs. Patient feedback and data-driven research are essential for improving healthcare outcomes.
Organizations like the American College of Cardiology, the Jacobs Institute, and the Pulmonary Hypertension Association are using surveys to drive medical innovation, gather patient feedback, and improve treatment outcomes. Our donation will help them advance healthcare and save lives.
Supporting communities
Strong communities need organizations that provide essential services, advocate for those in need, and foster a sense of belonging. Community-focused organizations play a vital role in creating a more just and equitable society.
Organizations like Charity Newsies, the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Maryland Nonprofits, Neighborhood Services Inc., the Northern New Jersey Community Foundation, Out South Florida, and the Young, Black, and Giving Back Institute are using surveys to understand community needs, measure program effectiveness, and build a more equitable and inclusive society. Our donation will help them strengthen communities and empower those they serve.
Promoting conservation and scientific research
Protecting our planet and advancing scientific knowledge requires data-driven research, community engagement, and a commitment to conservation. Scientific research and conservation efforts rely on data and community engagement to drive positive change.
Organizations like the Birmingham Zoo, the Paleontology Society, and Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium are using surveys to gather data, improve their programs, and educate the public about conservation and scientific discovery. Our donation will help them protect wildlife, advance research, and inspire future generations of scientists.
Championing important change
Addressing critical issues like child health, disability rights, domestic violence, and press freedom requires dedicated organizations that provide support, raise awareness, and advocate for change. Supporting organizations that champion important causes can create a ripple effect of positive change in the world.
Organizations like Extra Life, a program of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, the National Domestic Violence Hotline, the Spina Bifida Association, The Pulitzer Center, and Women in Product are using surveys to understand the needs of the communities they serve, measure the impact of their programs, and advocate for important causes. Our donation will help them continue their vital work.
