Professional, collegiate and scholastic photojournalists and their editors are being offered a unique opportunity to participate in educational research with Midwestern State University. The research will be conducted by Bradley Wilson, a former high school media adviser in Texas and director of student media at MWSU. The purpose of the research study is to help educators and researchers gain a better understanding of how high school photojournalists choose what images to publish in a spot news situation and what, if any, digital manipulation of such images they find desirable/acceptable. From this we hope to provide staffs with wording for their own Code of Ethics and guidance for instructors when teaching such ethical concepts.
