Dear Sir/Madam,
You are cordially invited to participate in a research project to investigate technology acceptance among people affected with cancer. The research is conducted by Professor W. David Huang at Department of Education Policy, Organization and Leadership, College of Education, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Ms. Syahidatul Khafizah Mohd Hajaraih, a doctoral student at the department. The finding of the research will advance our understanding on the how we can better prepare technology to help people affected with cancer learning, understanding, coping and living with cancer.
The research will ask you to complete a survey consists of multiple choice items and open-ended questions. You may choose to answer an online survey or paper based survey.
Upon providing your online consent to participate in the research study, you will be asked to complete the following survey consisting of 31 rating items and 9 open ended questions that will measure your general acceptance level towards KanPortal.
Your participation in this project is completely voluntary. Your decision to participate or not to participate in the study will not impact your status as a KanWork member but will supply valuable information for the researcher.
All collected data will be used for research purposes only. No personal information will be disclosed during the dissemination process.
The researchers will keep the information you provide confidential. However, the service hosting this survey may have access to the data you submit and your IP number. We cannot guarantee that this service will keep information you submit confidential.
